This
direct mail piece was designed for Marketing Communications at Katun
Corporation. It was planned to be translated into 6 languages: English,
Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Portuguese, and mailed out
internationally. Since the headline was written as "Beauty
Is Only Skin-deep...," Eriko researched and came up with the
image (the Statue of David in this case) to convey the universal
beauty across the Worldwide markets. Traditionally, Katun has advertised
these products in more technical manners. However, for this project,
Eriko has designed the theme of beauty: the Statue of David and
the X-rayed images inspired by the painting in the Sistine Chapel,
both created by Michaelangelo in Italy. These products were also
designed to be photographed to create the mood of the classic beauty.
